Starting July 22, 2026, through Aug. 4, 2026, the B There Portal will be down for maintenance. Log in will not be available; no requests can be made or changed during this time. Because of this, the date for classroom requests to be made by student groups is being moved to Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026.

Participants wanted 鈥 listening study with non-invasive brain stimulation
The Lim Lab in the Department of Psychology is seeking volunteers for a research study examining how the brain supports speech communication and learning. Participants will listen to speech and other sounds while receiving non-invasive brain stimulation, called transcranial electrical stimulation (tES).
This study will take place in Science 4, and participants will be compensated at $15/hour.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are 18鈥40 years old with normal hearing and language abilities
- Are safe to receive non-invasive brain stimulation (no metal or electronic implants)
- Have no history of neurological, psychiatric, or language disorders, seizures, epilepsy, severe brain injury, or brain surgery
- Are not currently taking medications or substances that affect nervous system function
- Have no significant scalp skin conditions

Participants needed for a speech perception study ($15/hour)
The Auditory Cognitive Neuroscience Lab is seeking native English-speaking adults (ages 18鈥35) to participate in a research study on speech perception. Participants will listen to speech sounds and complete simple computer-based tasks.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are 18鈥35 years old and a native English speaker
- Have normal hearing
- Do not have a history of speech, language, or neurological disorders
This study will take place in Science 4. Participants will be compensated at $15/hour.

Applications open for 2026-27 Empire State Service Corps
Applications open for 2026-27 Empire State Service Corps
SUNY undergraduate and graduate students can apply to serve in the Empire State Service Corps during the 2026鈥27 academic year. Members complete about 300 hours of community service (around 10 hours per week) from September through May while earning hourly pay and may also qualify for an AmeriCorps Education Award. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
