Background

Sondis Taha serves as an admissions and student services specialist in the Department of Social Work at Â鶹Éç. In this role, she supports prospective and current students through the admissions process and throughout their academic journeys.

Sondis brings several years of advising experience to her role. She previously spent three years as an academic advisor in the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, where she worked with students across a wide range of disciplines, helping them navigate curriculum planning, academic policies, and degree requirements. Prior to her advising role, she worked in the Undergraduate Admissions Office as a counselor operations specialist.

Drawing from her broad academic background and experience within higher education, she utilizes a student-centered approach and is committed to developing supportive and inclusive learning environments.
