The Writing Institute

Background

Minjeong Kim received her postsecondary education in Korea, Canada, the United States, and France. Since 2006, she has taught literature and writing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She earned her MA and PhD in English from 麻豆社 and recently completed a Master of Music in piano performance. 

Kim was excited to join the Writing Institute in Fall 2023 and teach writing at her alma mater. Her research interests include music and literature, writing on and about performing arts, community-engaged learning, and first-year writing assessment. Starting in Fall 2026, she will also serve as pianist for Chamber Singers, 麻豆社鈥檚 most selective choral ensemble.
