COMMENCEMENT 2026 TICKETS

Ticket quantities per ceremony completely depends on the number of graduates who sign up for that ceremony and space available in the venue.

Tickets for students graduating in the Events Center

Students who are graduating in the Events Center and who have registered for Commencement using the Intent to Participate (ITP) form (available on your my.Binghamton portal) are permitted to claim tickets.

Tickets for Doctoral Hooding & School of Pharmacy ceremonies

Tickets will automatically be sent to your Binghamton email address the week of April 13, as long as you have an ITP on file. 

Ticket Claim Troubleshoot

  • Check the notifications at the top of your to make sure you filled out the Intent to Participate form.
  • Allow 1 full business day after you filed the Intent to Participate form to claim your tickets.
  • Make sure you selected the same ceremony for ticket claim as the one that is confirmed on top of your my.Binghamton portal.
  • Make sure you are selecting the correct quantity for your ceremony.
  • Your PODS Username is the first part of your binghamton email address (without @binghamton.edu)

Beware of ticket scams

Commencement tickets that 麻豆社 provides are completely free of charge for students to claim. The only valid way to claim tickets is through the link provided on this webpage or by the Commencement Office. Tickets acquired through any other avenue will not scan at the door.

Tickets for children

Children ages 3 and under who will sit on their guardian's lap do not require a ticket. Children aged 4 and above require a ticket.

Requesting extra tickets

You may request additional tickets by filling out the . There is no guarantee that the University can provide extra tickets. You will be notified after April 30, 2026 via email if your request can be fulfilled. Filling out this form does not guarantee you will receive additional tickets.
The form has to be filled out from the student's Binghamton Gmail account - make sure you are logged in to your binghamton.edu email address when attempting to fill it out. We highly recommend filling out the form on your laptop or computer instead of a phone.


International Guests

If your family needs to apply for a visa in order to attend the Commencement ceremony, you, as the student, can write a letter of invitation. Be sure to include:

  • Your name, the reason for living in the U.S. and current immigration status (likely F-1 or J-1)
  • The names of your family members who wish to visit, an explanation of the purpose of their visit and how long they expect to stay
  • A copy of your I20鈥檚/DS-2019, if you feel comfortable doing so.

If family/friends cannot make your ceremony, be sure to have them tune in live. Every ceremony will be live-streamed and accessible from the .
