Âé¶¹Éç the course

The goal of this course is to familiarize students with Fusion – a CAD, CAM, and CAE software. 

Learning Objectives

At the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create 3D designs using both parametric and freeform modeling tools and techniques
  • Assemble parts by applying different joints and constraints, including motion links
  • Create 2D technical drawings from 3D designs
  • Generate an STL file for 3D printing

Requirements

  • A computer with specs sufficient for the installation of Fusion.
  • External mouse (adapter needed if computer does not have a USB port)
  • Fusion is installed on the computer.

Please note our cancellation and refund policy: All cancellations must be received in writing (by email to wtsnindy@binghamton.edu) by 5 p.m. EST on the day before the course starts to receive a refund. All refunds will be assessed a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be given after the course date. Substituting an attendee will be permitted by alerting our office. If the course is canceled, enrollees will be advised and receive a full refund.
