Âé¶¹Éç the course
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with Fusion – a CAD, CAM, and CAE software.
Learning Objectives
At the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Create 3D designs using both parametric and freeform modeling tools and techniques
- Assemble parts by applying different joints and constraints, including motion links
- Create 2D technical drawings from 3D designs
- Generate an STL file for 3D printing
Requirements
- A computer with specs sufficient for the installation of Fusion.
- External mouse (adapter needed if computer does not have a USB port)
- Fusion is installed on the computer.

Cancellations and refunds
Please note our cancellation and refund policy: All cancellations must be received
in writing (by email to wtsnindy@binghamton.edu) by 5 p.m. EST on the day before the
course starts to receive a refund. All refunds will be assessed a 10% administrative
fee. No refunds will be given after the course date. Substituting an attendee will
be permitted by alerting our office. Submit your cancellation request to EMAIL: wtsnindy@binghamton.edu.
If the course is canceled, enrollees will be advised and receive a full refund.
